in search of a good nights sleep

What do you long for, a good full eight hours of uninterrupted sleep; without the punctuation of stressful dreams? A tall order indeed.

Actually, sleep is more contiguous than continuous, more a pattern of mental rhythms that rise and fall throughout the night. Sleep is like sitting in a boat that moves with the flow of waves. The trick is to not be conscious of it all.

Many things can affect your sleep patterns from the bed being uncomfortable, too hot or cold, too full of food or drink, noisy neighbours, snoring and so on. We need to remember that good sleep begins with a feeling of safety both externally and within us. If our environment is distractive or threatening it will be hard to sleep, if our mind-body feels under stress the same occurs.

Hypnotherapy can help sort out the mental, mind, aspect of sleeping; although you will need to look at all the physical aspects yourself.

Allowing your mind to unwind towards the close of your day is a great aid to a better sleep, and that is what I can help you achieve.
